The performers:
🎶 Catrîcorne – an acoustic duo from Gdańsk creating contemporary minimalist folk with a touch of psychedelia. Their compositions are filled with bittersweet longing and dark nostalgia, and their poetic lyrics, under the guise of fairy-tale stories, tell of the nature of human existence and romantic love. The band’s instrumentation centers around mandolins, guitar, and cello, sometimes enriched with lute, gęśle, or multi-part a cappella vocals.
🎶 Gan Ainm – philological souls (with a special guest appearance from an engineering soul) possessed by a passion for musical journeys, particularly set on a Celtic course. From the stage you’ll hear Irish classics sung in their lyrical language, perfect for tapping your foot—and for reflecting on human nature. As deep as the glass in the hand of the lyrical subject, at least. You’ll also hear melodies on the more nostalgic side, interwoven with those that are anything but nostalgic—and all the more cheerful for it.
